What to expect: You'll get to hear from our founder, Pastor Bryan Sedarwall as he shares a brief summary of his 17-year journey, providing a unique perspective of creating a working "Community Engagement Model" that establishes a permission slip for partnership through the faith community, government, local businesses, donors, and volunteers.  There's a significant opportunity for the faith community to build a strategy for community engagement, including partnerships, funding, and programming to engage some of the most critical concerns of our communities. This points to our special guest Charles S. Special guest: Charles is a proud Colorado native and servant leader of social change and innovation. He serves as the Director of Regional Affairs to Mayor Michael B. Hancock in the City and County of Denver. His people-centered, non-traditional approach drives tangible results, creates access, and builds an inclusive framework for the future. His scope includes being a bridge between the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, and Denver Metro Regional partners. Additionally, his scope includes driving projects that impacted $3.65B of capital expenditures, equity projects. Charles also serves as the co-site Director for the COVID-19 shelter operations and as the Chair of the Mayor's Faith Council in Denver. He is leading the initiative on dealing with the influx of migrants to the city of Denver and has solid insight on how we can be part of the solution. Charles' beloved alma mater is the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he studied Business Administration. Go Buffs & Coach Prime!
